A little about the Winemaker:

Bart Fawbush started his journey in 2007 with 600 cases of wine, initially starting out of a tasting room in the old Rainier Brewery building in Seattle. Bartholomew Winery has steadily grown their offerings to 2,500 cases annually, producing small-batch wines known for their bold, distinctive flavors.
To achieve this, Bart works closely with some of the best vineyards in Washington state (many in the coveted Red Mountain AVA), and is one of the few winemakers growing and working with unique italian varietals like Tannat, Graciano, Counoise and Sagrantino!

Bartholomew Winery is not in distribution - meaning you can't just go to any ol' store and find his wines!  Bart will be making the trip over from Eastern Washington to share his passion for wine with us for one night only, so make sure to save your spot, this is one you WILL NOT want to miss!!

For our "Meet The Winemaker" events, we need more room than our little shop can handle, so we've booked the beautiful Event suite above Beecher's Cheese (just around the corner from Truffle Queen). 

As you can see from the picture, the sweeping waterfront view is FANTASTIC!

For this evening, we'll be featuring 4 of Bart's wines, each paired with foods made from the freshest ingredients from Pike Place Market, enhanced with Truffle Queen products.

As a special treat for dessert, we'll head back to Truffle Queen to enjoy a BONUS POUR of bubbly, and special Valentine's macaroons, provided by local artisan Dame Tasty. (She will also be on hand with more of her fabulous macaroons, available for purchase!)

The Beecher's entertainment space holds approximately 30 people, so gather your friends to meet some fellow wine lovers and chat the night away.

(This would also be a wonderful "Gift of Experience" to enjoy with someone special as an early Valentine celebration...<3
